So how does Swagbucks work? Simply sign up then use their search engine to do the searches you normally do and you'll earn Swagbucks for doing them. In addition you can earn Swagbucks for playing games, doing surveys and watching videos (among other things). My favorite way to earn Swagbucks, however, is by purchasing the daily deals from Living Social and Groupon; deals I would have bought anyway. Buying these Daily Deals via Swagbucks earns big returns; usually it's 280 Swagbucks but they bumped it up for this current Groupon deal to 315 Swagbucks.
So why earn Swagbucks? Because you can trade those bad boys in for some really great stuff. I usually opt for the Amazon gift cards (it only takes 450 Swagbucks to earn a $5 Amazon gift card), but there are many other choices including other gift cards and items ranging from MP3 downloads to electronics.
