Today Only (3/10) Get 20% Off your online order at Bath & Body Works by entering the code: NEW20 at checkout.

PLUS: Get FREE SHIPPING on any order of $50 or more. (as if the 20% Off wasn't enough enticement).

I have to admit I am a Bath & Body Works devotee and have had to make myself cancel so many orders in the last few months. I have a pretty decent stock of B&BW products right now and I really don't need more, but man some of their deals are so hard to pass up.

Oh and if you need any more encouragement (I did not need to see this, really I didn't), they are running Buy 3, Get 2 FREE on all their Signature Collection items.

Eat Cheap With Restaurant.com

I've not tried Restaurant.com yet mainly because until this week they only had one restaurant listed in my area.  I just read on Rocket City Savings, however, that we now have about 16 different restaurants listed so I might finally give them a try.  Normally, Restaurant.com is like a 1/2 Off site, you can buy a gift certificate to various restaurants for about 50% Off.  For instance, the first restaurant listed in my area is Gibson's BBQ, which is offering $10gc for just $5 or a $25gc for just $15.  However, right now Restaurant.com is offering additional savings, if you enter code: SAVE at checkout, you can get a $25gc for just $2.

Before you buy on Restaurant.com, however, I do suggest that you take a look at the restrictions on each gc, as there always is one.  Usually, there is a minimum purchase that is above the amount of the gift certificate.  Ie. On the example I gave above, for the $10gc the minimum purchase is $20 and for the $25gc, the minimum purchase is $35.  Sometimes the minimum purchases are even higher (I've seen minimum purchases of $50 on the $25gc many times). Of course, if you are getting that $25gc for $2, paying an extra $10 to take home a whole pie or dinner for tomorrow really won't seem like much.  Check it out and see what the offerings are in your area.

Be a Dummie No More - with 50% Off For Dummies Books

Amazon has a great deal right now on the For Dummies Books, they've got many of them marked down to 50% Off and then on top of that you can take advantage of their offer to get a $5 Mail In Rebate when you buy any For Dummies book between March 1-30.  You can opt to get a 20th Anniversary For Dummies tshirt instead of the $5, if you choose.

iPad For Dummies is just one of the titles you can get for 50% Off right now, along with Facebook For Dummies, Windows 7 For Dummies, QuickBooks 2011 For Dummies, Investing For Dummies (I think I might order this one), Accounting For Dummies
and many other titles.  With most of the ones that are on sale for 50% Off, after you do the mail-in rebate that's like getting the book for about $6!  These books are also eligible for Amazon Prime shipping, which makes this an even better deal.

All You: Just Renewed my Subscription for .83/Issue

I've been getting notices from All You that I needed to renew my subscription and only had one more issue left before it would run out, but I really didn't want to pay full price (even though it's a great deal at about $1.67/issue). I wanted to pay less, so I was quite happy when I saw this note reminding me that Stockpiling Moms has a great deal to get 30 issues of All You magazine for just $25. You can grab the deal here.

I'm Torn: Staples Freebies Last Day

So I was just reminded by another blog that the Staples Freebies end today. In case you didn't know (and you want to rush out tonight) you can get 4 different items FREE after their Easy Rebate; pens, paper clips, envelopes & copy paper.

I'd really planned to go out and grab 2 boxes of the envelopes (limit is 2) and since I have an $8 gift card from the ink cartridges I recycled in January, it would only be $2 OOP. (But I'd get a $10gc later from the Easy Rebate). But, I haven't had a chance to go all week and I really don't feel like running out in this wet nasty weather tonight to grab them. So I guess I will miss this deal.

It's funny how when I realize I'm missing a great deal it really bugs me, but once it's already missed I'm ok. Tomorrow I'll be fine with it. Tonight it will bug me that I'm not getting the deal.

If you aren't familiar with the Staples Ink Recycling program, this is one you really should take a look at. Rather than throwing away your dead ink cartridges, they will pay you $2 for every cartridge you bring in to recycle. I just got my first gift card from doing this a few weeks ago and I can't help but think how much this will save me on other things I need (like envelopes). If you are interested, you can check out details on the program on their website, here.

Walgreens Plan of Attack: Better Deal on the Swiffers?

I may have found a better deal on the Swiffers, still at Walgreens just a different way to do the transactions to lower the (OOP) Out of Pocket.  No matter how I do it it's going to take a lot of transactions and I'm not looking forward to this trip.  I'm just not into the whole multiple transaction thing.

So included with the Swiffer refills on the Buy $10 get a $3RR are Mr Clean magic erasers for $2.50 and Downy liquid fabric softener for $3.99 (both also things we would use). I'm also planning to buy several of the Schick Xtreme 3 razor packages which are on sale for $5.99 (with a $3RR).  So here's my current transaction plan.

Transaction 1
4 Swiffer Refills @$4.49 = 17.96 -$8.98                         = $8.98
1 Schick Xtreme 4pk @$5.99-$1Q                                 = $4.99
                                                                                       = $13.97
- $4RR                                                                           = $9.97 (get $6RR)

Transaction 2
2 Swiffer Refills @ $4.49 - BOGO                                  =$4.49
1 Downy           @$3.99 -$1                                          =$2.99
                                                                                       =$7.48
-$3RR                                                                            =$4.48 (get $3RR)

Transaction 3
1 Schick Xtreme 4pk @$5.99-$1Q                                = $4.99
 - $3RR                                                                          = $1.99 (get $3RR)

Transaction 4
2 Swiffer Refills @ $4.49 - BOGO                                  =$4.49
1 Downy           @$3.99 -$1                                           =$2.99
                                                                                       =$7.48
-$3RR                                                                            =$4.48 (get $3RR)

Transaction 5
1 Schick Xtreme 4pk @$5.99-$1Q                                 = $4.99
 - $3RR                                                                           = $1.99 (get $3RR)

Transaction 6
2 Swiffer Refills @ $4.49 - BOGO                                  =$4.49
1 Mr. Clean @ $2.50- $1                                                =$1.50
                                                                                        =$5.99
              -$3RR                                                               =$2.99 (get $3RR)

Transaction 7
1 Schick Xtreme 4pk @$5.99-$1Q                                 = $4.99
 - $3RR                                                                           = $1.99 (get $3RR)

I keep looking at this thinking there has got to be a better way.  The OOP still seems so high. After tax it will be around $30, but I will come out with 4 packs of razors, 1 Mr Clean, 2 Downy & 10 Swiffer refills. So, when I think of it like that it still seems like a pretty good deal since that's less than $1.50 per item.
